Politics

David Cameron's refusal to take part in a televised debate with Ed Miliband is the latest news to hit the General Election run-in.

It now looks as though the PM will only take part in one debate so long as it involves at least seven parties and is not in the final 4-week run up to the May 7th polling date.

The Conservatives' number of predicted seats is up very slightly to 281 – 287, Labour's down two points to 273 – 279, the SNP's up from 35.5 – 38.5 to 38 - 41, Lib Dems down half a point to 24 – 27 and UKIP up half a point to 5 – 7.

Our fixed odds prices for the most seats are Conservatives at 8/15, Labour 6/4, UKIP 100/1 and Lib Dems 500/1.

In terms of overall majority, No Overall Majority is 1/5, Conservative Majority 9/2, Labour Majority 12/1, UKIP Majority 100/1 and Lib Dem Majority 500/1.
