Football

The start of the Premier League season is only a week away but before that the Football League programme begins this weekend, beginning with Blackburn v Cardiff tomorrow night (Friday) in the Championship.

We'll have in-play fixed odds and spread betting prices on that game plus other selected matches across League One, League Two, the Conference, Scottish Premier League, Scottish Championship, Scottish League One, French Ligue 1 and Russian Premier League.

Title favourites Chelsea finish off the opening round of fixtures with a Monday night trip to newly promoted Burnley. Our fixed odds prices have Chelsea 2/5 for the win, Burnley 8/1 and the draw 7/2.

As for the long-term Premier League winner prices themselves, Chelsea are 15/8, defending champions Manchester City 9/4, Man United 9/2, Arsenal 6/1 and Liverpool 10/1. In the Championship, Derby are 15/2, Fulham and Cardiff both 8/1, Wigan 9/1 and Norwich 10/1.

Golf

The final major of the golfing season starts today at the Valhalla Golf Club, Kentucky as the big names in the game compete at the US PGA Championship.

Open winner Rory McIlroy will be bidding to for his second straight major victory in a tournament he has already won back in 2012, while Tiger Woods is playing through the pain to line-up despite continuing back problems.

We'll have a vast range of fixed odds and spread betting prices to play on including our spread betting Leaderboard paying out to eight places and our fixed odds outrights paying out to six places.

Cricket

England bounced back in style to win the third Test by 266 runs in Southampton and have Jimmy Anderson free to play for his home Test in Manchester after being cleared of any wrongdoing following his spat with Ravindra Jadeja.

Ahead of the start of the match, England were 13/8 on our fixed odds with India 17/4 and the draw evens. Anderson's Bowler Performance spread (10 points per wicket, 25 point bonus for five wicket haul in an innings) was 46 – 51.

Alastair Cook also rediscovered his form with knocks of 95 and 70 not out. His Batsman Runs quote for the entire Test is 76 – 83.

Tennis

Our expansive betting coverage this weekend takes in the ATP San Marino and ATP and WTA Rogers Cup.

In the women's competition, Serena Williams is 15/8 favourite, Maria Sharapova 11/2, Victoria Azarenka 7/1, Eugenie Bouchard 15/2, Simona Halep 8/1 and Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova 9/1.

Rugby

The Challenge Cup semi-finals take the focus this weekend as the sides look to book a place in the final at Wembley later this month.

On Saturday Leeds face Warrington with Leeds 4/5, the draw 16/1 and Warrington 11/10. Our spread betting Points Supremacy market is Leeds/Warrington 1 - 4.

American Football

The NFL season begins on September 4th and we have in-play betting on the pre-season clashes in the early hours of Friday morning UK time and on Saturday and Sunday.

We also have long-term fixed odds Superbowl Winner prices out. Current champions Seattle Seahawks are the 5/1 favourites while beaten finalists Denver Broncos are 11/2.

San Francisco 49ers, beaten in the 2013 final by Baltimore Ravens, are 6/1 while New England Patriots, finalists in 2012 when they lost to New York Giants, are 7/1. 2011 winners Green Bay Packers are 10/1.

Boxing

Kell Brook meets Shawn Porter in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time on 17th August at in a clash for the IBF welterweight title.

The fight will take place in California, but Sheffield-born Brook can take confidence from the fact he has fought in America before, when he knocked out Luis Galarza in December 2011 on the undercard of the Ward v Froch fight.

We have Kell Brook at 2/1 to be the fight winner and Shawn Porter at 2/5, with the draw at 22/1.

Politics

David Cameron's recent cabinet reshuffle seems to have had little impact on the betting surrounding the next General Election.

In fact the prices have seen Labour shorten very slightly from 4/5 to 8/11 for Most Seats with the Conservatives lengthening fractionally from even money to 21/20. UKIP stay at 66/1 while the Liberal Democrats have moved from 150/1 to 300/1.

For Overall Majority we have Labour 2/1, Conservatives 12/5, UKIP 80/1, Liberal Democrats 200/1 and No Overall Majority 11/10.

As for who will be the next Prime Minister after David Cameron, Ed Miliband remains 4/5 favourite followed by Boris Johnson at 10/1, Theresa May at 14/1, Yvette Cooper 14/1 and Phillip Hammond 25/1, George Osborne, Michael Gove, William Hague and Chuka Umunna all 25/1.

The Scottish Independence Referendum takes place on September 18th and our traders reckon it's going to end as a ‘No' vote.

That's 1/7 to be the outcome while a ‘Yes' vote is 9/2.
