Sports Update
Football

The British clubs may be struggling in the Champions League, but there’s plenty of interest in the Europa League and we’ll be trading all eight of tonight’s (Thursday’s) matches in-play including Chelsea’s journey to Steaua Bucharest (Chel/Stea 0.4-0.6), Tottenham’s clash with Inter (Tott/Int 0.65-0.85) and Newcastle’s trip to Anzhi (Anz/New 0.9-1.1).

The FA Cup is the main highlight of the weekend’s action as we reach the quarter-finals.

At 12.45 on Saturday Everton meet Wigan at Goodison Park in an all-Premiership affair. Will the home side prove too strong for the visitors? We have Everton at 4/9 for the win, Wigan at 6/1 and the draw 10/3.

At 17.30 Man City take on Barnsley. The Tykes saw off the MK Dons to set up this match, but will it be the end of the road for them? Our Supremacy quote is Man City/Barnsley 2.5-2.7

The two o’clock game on Sunday sees Blackburn traveling to London as they face Millwall. The Lions scored three in the last round. We’re quoting their Total Goals at 1.3-1.5 here.

The pick of this round’s matches is on Sunday at 16.30 as Man Utd host Chelsea. Will Man Utd triumph here and put the midweek defeat by Real Madrid out of their system? Our Supremacy quote is Man Utd/Chelsea 0.6-0.8.

There are also six matches in the Premier league this week. These games include: Norwich v Southampton, QPR v Sunderland, Reading v Aston Villa, West Brom v Swansea, Newcastle v Stoke and Liverpool v Tottenham.

The Champions League continues next week and our Supremacy prices are: Barcelona v AC Milan (Bar/Mil 1.7-1.9), Schalke/Galatasaray (Sha/Gal 0.7-0.9), Bayern v Arsenal (Bay/Ars 1.4-1.6) and Malaga v Porto (0.1 Choice).

And don’t forget about our Take Your Money feature allowing you to close out of your fixed odds bets in-play. Find out more here.

Horse Racing

This year’s Cheltenham Festival gets underway on Tuesday and we are now live with our Festival markets and non-runner no bet on all fixed odds prices.

Highlights include Festival Favourites 236-256, Festival Distances 102-112, Biggest Winning SP 47-48.5 and Irish Trained Winners x10 79-83 to name a few.

Horses leading the betting for the highlight of the jumps season include the likes of Hurricane Fly who is 2/1 for the Champions Hurdle, Sprinter Sacre who is 1/4 for the Queen Mothers Chase and Oscar Whisky who is 3/1 in the World Hurdle.

We are also offering prices for other upcoming races. Don’t see a price for a horse in a particular race that you are interested in?

Then simply email us at antepost@spreadex.com stating the horse and the race in question and we will get back to you with a price.

Don’t forget that we are now offering an Unnamed Favourite market on each horse race. This allows you to place a bet on whichever horse is the starting price favourite at the off. Note that if the favourite is nominated and two or more runners start at the shortest odds, then stakes are equally divided over the ‘joint’ or ‘co’ favourites created. So, if you place £10 on ‘Unnamed Favourite’ and there are two favourites, you will get a £5 bet on each of them.

Six Nations rugby takes centre stage again this weekend as the action heats up in this year’s competition.

At 17.00 Ireland host France at the Aviva Stadium. Both sides go in to this one on the back of defeats last time out and will be looking for the win here. We have Ireland at 10/11 for the victory, France at Evens and the draw 18/1.

On Sunday England continue their quest for the Grand Slam as they look to make it four wins out of four. Our Supremacy quote here is England/Italy 26-29.
