Football

It's the Manchester derby on Sunday and we have some new spread betting specials including our Super Mega Player Goal Minutes!

This market is based on the minutes of the goals scored in the match by a player but with the goal minutes doubled for a second goal and trebled for a hat-trick goal.

So if Wayne Rooney was to score in the 30th, 60th and 90th minutes the market would make up at 420 ((1 x 30) + (2 x 60) + (3 x 90)). Rooney's quote for this market is 30 – 33 while Sergio Aguero is 36 – 39. We will also have Player Card Minutes available for this match.

Our spread betting Goal Supremacy quote is Man United/Man City 0 – 0.2 while other big games over the weekend are Arsenal/Burnley (h) 1 – 1.2 and Chelsea/QPR (h) 1.3 – 1.5.

Politics

Last week's seven way live TV debate didn't greatly move the spread betting markets ahead of the General Election in May, however the SNP have made a small gain at the expense of Labour.

Nicola Sturgeon was the surprise winner in many people's eyes last week, but she then suffered a tough time of it in the Scottish TV debate.

Currently the Conservatives' number of predicted seats is 282 – 287, Labour's down slightly to 269 – 274, the SNP up marginally to 42 – 45, the Lib Dems static at 24 – 27 and UKIP down a fraction at 4 – 6.

Our fixed odds prices for the most seats are Conservatives at 4/9, Labour 13/8, UKIP 100/1 and Lib Dems 400/1.

In terms of overall majority, No Overall Majority has shortened to 1/8, Conservative Majority 11/2, Labour Majority lengthened to 22/1, UKIP Majority 100/1 and Lib Dem Majority 500/1.
