Football

On Saturday the focus will be back on under-pressure David Moyes as Manchester United try to improve upon a 2014 record that so far reads played three, lost three. The Red Devils host Swansea at 5.30pm less than a week after losing to the Swans 2-1 in the FA Cup. For this one we have the Supremacy price at Man United/Swansea 1.1-1.3. 

First up on Saturday is Hull v Chelsea at 12.45pm on BT Sport 1. The Blues saw off the Tigers 2-0 on the opening day of the season when Total Goal Minutes made up at 38. We’re quoting TGMs at 125-135 for this one.

For the 3pm kick-offs our Supremacy prices are; Cardiff/West Ham 0.4-0.6, Everton/Norwich 1.4-1.6, Fulham/Sunderland 0.3-0.5, Southampton/West Brom 0.65-0.85 and Tottenham/C Palace 1.4-1.6.

On Sunday Newcastle will hope they can try and expose the awayday frailties of Manchester City when the sides meet at St James’s Park at 2.05pm. We still have the Citizens as strong 8/13 favourites though, with a Newcastle win at 4/1 and the draw 3/1.

The 4.10pm kick-off sees Liverpool travel to take on Stoke looking to revitalise their own away form after defeats at Chelsea and Manchester City on the road last time out. Again Liverpool are short price favourites here at 8/15, with Stoke 5/1 to win and the draw 3/1.

On Monday night current table-toppers Arsenal look to consolidate their title credentials with victory at Villa Park. Last season this game ended goalless. We have Total Goals at 2.8-3.

We’ve also now released further World Cup betting markets including Group spread betting indices and a range of other fixed odds markets.

Will England get out of their tough group? England’s 25:10:5 Group Index price is 10.25-11.75 and their fixed odds price to qualify is 4/6.

Cricket

We have updated our fixed odds rule book in relation to fall of next wicket betting. This rule change relates to rule 8 (4) on page 19 of our Sports Fixed Odds Betting Rulebook.

In terms of our spread betting and fixed odds coverage, England will be looking to put their embarrassing Ashes whitewash behind them when they take on Australia in the five-match ODI series, which begins in Melbourne in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time.

We have our full range of series fixed odds and spreads available including Series Sixes, Fours, Wickets, Runs, Bowleds, Stumpings, Wides, etc.

Elsewhere we’ll be covering all the action from the Big Bash Down Under, the Pakistan v Sri Lanka second Test and first New Zealand v West Indies T20 clash on Saturday.

Tennis 

Some big names are in action at the ATP Sydney this week ahead of the first major of the season, the Australian Open in Melbourne on Monday next week.

Two of today’s (Thursday’s) ATP Sydney quarter-finals include Tomic (evens) v Dolgopolov (8/11) and Stakhovsky (11/10) v Matosevic (4/6) with coverage on EuroSport 2.

As for the Australian Open outrights, defending champion Novak Djokovic, who has just appointed Boris Becker as his new coach, leads the way in the betting at 11/10, followed by world number one Rafael Nadal at 12/5, Andy Murray at 7/1, Juan Martin Del Potro 10/1 and Roger Federer 14/1.

In the women’s event, Serena Williams is 5/6, Victoria Azarenka 9/2, Maria Sharapova 9/1 and Na Li 12/1.

Ahead of the new season we also have a Grand Slam Performance market based on 25 points awarded per Grand Slam won plus a 100 bonus if a player wins all four events.

Djokovic’s spread is 36-40, Nadal 33-37, Murray 14-17, Del Potro 5.5-7.5 and Federer 4.5-6.5.

Golf 

After the Hyundai Championships last week, the focus remains in Hawaii for the Sony Open – the traditional opening full field event of the year on the PGA Tour.

Russell Henley won the event last year by three shots, however, we have him as a 50/1 outsider to retain his title.

Ahead of the start of the event, Adam Scott led the betting at 7/1, Zach Johnson was 11/1, Matt Kuchar 12/1, Jordan Spieth 14/1 and Charles Howell III and Jason Dufner both 20/1.

The European Tour gets underway in South Africa with the Volvo Champions at the Durban Country Club.

Much like last week’s PGA tour Hyundai Championship, the Volvo Champions is restricted to players who won on the European Tour last year.

Charl Schwartzel led the betting before the start as 3/1 favourite, some way in front of Jamie Donaldson and Thomas Bjorn at 11/1, Louis Oosthizen at 14/1, Miguel Angel Jimenez 16/1 and Joost Luiten 18/1.

NFL

After an eventful wildcard weekend, the NFL season is now at the Divisional stage – effectively the quarter-finals – as we creep ever closer to finding out who will contest this year’s Super Bowl.

San Francisco, New Orleans, San Diego and Indianapolis, who came back from 38-10 down against Kansas City, were the teams to progress last week.

We’ll be in-play on all the action with Seattle/New Orleans 7-9 at 9.35pm on Saturday, New England/Indianapolis 6.5-8.5 at 1.15am on Sunday, San Francisco/Carolina 0-2 at 6pm on Sunday and Denver/San Diego 8-10 at 9.40pm on Sunday. Coverage is on Sky Sports 3 and 2.

Rugby 

We’re into Week 5 of 6 in the European competitions as the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup return this weekend.

First up we’re live on Newcastle v Brive in the Amlin Challenge Cup tonight (Thursday) with both sides currently on 14 points from 4 games.

We have Newcastle the favourites here with a Supremacy price of Newcastle/Brive 4-7 or 4/11 on the fixed odds. Brive are 12/5 and the draw 16/1.

The BDO World Darts Championship enters its second week at Lakeside with coverage on BBC1, BBC2 and BBC Interactive.

Defending champion Mark Selby is 13/2 to successfully defend his crown while Ronnie O’Sullivan is 5/2, Neil Robertson 6/1, Ding Junhui 7/1 and Judd Trump 9/1.
