Football

England host minnows San Marino in a Euro 2016 Qualifier at 7.45pm tonight (Thursday) with fans expecting goals, goals and more goals.

England are 1/200 for the win and the visitors 100/1 so it's all about the correct scoreline betting with 5-0 and 7-0 England both 5/1 and 6-0 England 9/2.

On the spreads, the Spreadex traders are predicting England will win by between 6.3 and 6.5 goals. So buy if you think it'll be at least a seven goal margin of victory, or sell if you think it will be six goals or fewer.

Elsewhere we're live on other home nations matches including Wales v Bosnia tomorrow and Republic of Ireland v Gibraltar, Scotland v Georgia and Northern Ireland v Faroe Islands on Saturday.

Rugby

It's the Super League Grand Final on Saturday as St Helens take on Wigan at Old Trafford at 6pm.

If you're not familiar with spread betting on rugby league, our blogger has been looking at the Top 10 Spread Betting Moments of the 2014 Super League season.

As for the match itself, Wigan are the 5/11 favourites with St Helens 2/1 for the win. The spread betting Points Supremacy price is Wigan/St Helens 5 - 8.

Looking at our rugby union betting, Saracens remain the 11/8 favourites to be regular season winners and 6/4 favourites to be Grand Final winners, this despite last week's 21 – 11 loss to high-flying Bath.

Current table-toppers and reigning champions Northampton host Sale on Saturday while Saracens play Gloucester on the same day. On Sunday bath travel to Wasps.

There's been plenty of arrers action every evening so far this week and that is set to continue as the World Grand Prix Darts rolls on from Dublin.

Last night (Wednesday) James Wade and Robert Thornton sensationally both hit nine-dart finishes in their second round clash which was eventually won by Wade, while Phil Taylor, Kevin Painter and Gary Anderson all came from behind to progress.

This evening's games include Dutch pair Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld with van Gerwen 1/6 to beat Dean Winstanley, who is 4/1 (van Gerwen/Winstanley 10 – 13 on our 10-3 spread betting Leg Supremacy market) and Barney 40/85 to beat Mervyn King, who is 13/8 (van Barneveld/King 3.5 – 6.5 on our 10 – 3 spread betting Leg Supremacy market).

Cricket

Our cricket betting over the next two days focuses on the Pakistan v Australia second ODI tomorrow (Friday) and the India v West Indies second ODI on Saturday.

Australia won the first ODI by a huge 162 runs thanks to Steven Smith's first ODI century. Australia are 4/11 to win the second ODI with Pakistan 21/20. The spread betting Supremacy market is Australia/Pakistan 22 – 32.

West Indies were also big winners in their first ODI against India as they downed the hosts by 124 runs thanks to an unbeaten 126 from Marlon Samuels.

Despite that result, India are 2/5 favourites to win the second ODI with the Windies 2/1. The spread betting Supremacy price is India/West Indies 18 – 28.

American Football

Outright Superbowl favourites Seattle Seahawks rounded off week five of the NFL season with a 27 – 17 win over Washington in the early hours of Tuesday morning UK time.

Seattle, who are 10/3 to retain their crown, this week play Dallas Cowboys on Sunday evening and are 4/15 for the win with Dallas 11/4 and the spread betting Points Supremacy market Seattle/Dallas 7.5 – 9.5.

Week six's action starts with Indianapolis @ Houston in the early hours of Friday morning UK time.

Indianapolis, who beat Baltimore 20 – 13 last week, are 4/6 favourites, while Houston, who went down 20 -17 in an overtime loss to Dallas last time out, are 6/5. Our spread betting Points Supremacy market is Indianapolis/Houston 1.5 – 3.5.

Tennis

Andy Murray let slip a one set lead to lose to David Ferrer in the third round of the Shanghai Masters on Thursday morning meaning he now faces an uphill task to make the top eight players who will reach the ATP World Tour finals in London next month.

Murray, who lost 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 to Ferrer is now ranked tenth but still has the Valencia Open and Paris Masters to try and pick up the necessary ranking points that will give him a place at the 02.

Our other live betting from Shanghai on Thursday featured Novak Djokovic v Mikhail Kukushkin (spread betting 10-5 Match Supremacy price Djokovic/Kukushkin 17.5 – 19.5) and Roger Federer v Bautista Agut (spread betting 10-5 Match Supremacy price Federer/Agut 11 – 14).

Formula One

After Lewis Hamilton's victory in Japan last week, he is now 4/11 favourite to win the championship with team-mate Nico Rosberg now 2/1.

This weekend the drivers race in the first ever Russian Grand Prix in Sochi with Hamilton 4/6 favourite ahead of Rosberg at 11/5, Daniel Ricciardo 14/1, Valtteri Bottas and Sebastian Vettel both 18/1 and Fernando Alonso 25/1.

The PGA tour starts for the new season with the Fry's.com Open in Napa, California with familiar names such as Matt Kuchar, Jimmy Walker, Hunter Mahan, Brandt Snedeker, Brooks Koepka and Lee Westwood among the field.

Meanwhile the European Tour moves from Scotland to Portugal for the Portugal Masters with victorious Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley among those competing.

Politics

Scotland had its say last month and decided to stay as part of the Union with voters opting against independence.

Now all eyes turn to the expected next UK General Election in May of 2015. Labour remain favourites to get most seats at 8/11 – despite leader Ed Miliband forgetting part of his speech at the party conference recently.

The Conservatives are closing the gap slightly to 11/10 to get most seats, UKIP 66/1 and the Lib Dems 400/1.

In terms of overall majority, no overall majority is 21/20, Labour majority has drifted to 21/10, Conservative majority is very slightly shorter to 13/5, UKIP majority is 80/1 and Lib Dem majority is 200/1.

The betting for next Prime Minister after David Cameron has Miliband as 10/11 favourite, Boris Johnson now 9/2 from 11/2, George Osborne and Theresa May both 12/1, Philip Hammond 16/1, Yvette Cooper both 20/1 and Michael Gove 22/1.
