The World Cup qualifiers return this weekend with England v Scotland the highlight from Wembley at 7.45pm on Friday.

England have been lacklustre under interim boss Gareth Southgate while Scotland have been even worse of late under Gordon Strachan, so who will raise their game?

Horse Racing

The jumps season comes to life with the Cheltenham Open meeting this weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Some established names and stars of the future will be on display with the likes of Thistlecrack, Next Sensation, Annacotty and Altior all competing.

Looking ahead to the Greatwood Hurdle on Sunday we have Winter Escape as the 11/4 favourite ahead of Modus at 13/2 and Ch'tibello at 17/2.

Cricket

England ended a marvellous first innings on 537 all out to sit firmly in the driving seat on the second day of the first Test against India in Rajkot.

Joe Root, Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes all hit centuries on the way. In reply, India ended the day on 63 for no loss leaving England 2/1 on the fixed odds, with India 7/1 and the draw 4/7.

On the spreads ahead of the start of day three, our traders had India Runs at 470 - 485, with Vijay Runs 76 – 81 (so far 25), Gambhir Runs 72 – 77 (so far 28) and Fall of First Wicket at 113 - 118.

Rugby

England make their bow in the autumn internationals when they face South Africa at Twickenham at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Our traders have the Points Supremacy price England/South Africa 10 – 13. Elsewhere it's New Zealand/Italy (h) 41 – 44, Australia/Scotland (h) 9 – 12 and Wales/Argentina 3 – 6.

Switching codes, the rugby league Four Nations tournament continues with New Zealand/Scotland 36 – 39 on Friday and Australia/England (h) 10 – 13 on Saturday.

Formula 1

The penultimate race of the season in Brazil sees Lewis Hamilton trying to close a 19 point gap in the championship on teammate Nico Rosberg.

Hamilton is favourite to win the race with a spread of 57 – 61 on our 80-60-50-40-30-25-20-15-10-5 Race Index and 8/11 on the fixed odds. Rosberg is 52 - 56 and 7/4 respectively.

However, for the title itself Rosberg is the 1/5 favourite with Hamilton 10/3. In terms of Season Points, Hamilton's quote is 362 – 367 (so far 330) and Rosberg 380 – 385 (so far 349).

Golf

The penultimate event in the Race to Dubai sees some big names of the game gather in Sun City, South Africa for the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

Henrik Stenson is the 7/2 favourite to win the competition ahead of Alex Noren at 17/2, Rafa Cabrera Bello and Ross Fisher at 10/1 and Charl Schwartzel at 18/1.

We'll also be covering the OHL Classic where Russell Knox is the 14/1 favourite ahead of Emiliano Grillo and Jon Rahm at 16/1, Jim Furyk at 20/1 and Keegan Bradley at 28/1.

American Football

The latest round of action in the NFL starts with Cleveland @ Baltimore at 1.25am Friday morning UK-time. Our Points Supremacy price is Baltimore/Cleveland 8.5 – 10.5.
