Weekly Sports Update
11.12.13 Wednesday Morning

The number seven attempts a clearance. But what happens next?

Cricket
We’re offering you the chance to win a £100 fixed odds bet in our Ashes Dream Team Competition.
Simply pick your team for the 3rd Test, which begins at 2am on Friday morning, with points based on our Player Performance spread betting market: 1pt per run, 10pts per catch, 20pts per wicket and 25pts per stumping.
You must have a minimum of five players from each side. Nominate a captain to get double points and also predict the total number of runs from both teams over the entire third Test for a tiebreak.
Just place one Player Performance spread bet on the 3rd Test to qualify. Email your team to us at marketing@spreadex.com by 5pm on Thursday and we’ll announce the winner next week. Good luck!
If that’s not enough we’ve also Price Boosted Michael Carberry to industry best price 6/1 and Joe Root to joint industry best price 5/1 to be Top England Batsman and David Warner to industry best price 4/1 and Chris Rogers to industry best price 6/1 to be Top Australia Batsman. And if you fancy England to make a comeback over the series, we’re industry best price 12/1 for the series to end a draw.
Back to the Dream Team competition, pick 11 players from the squads below with a minimum of five players from either side and one wicket keeper (Haddin, Prior or Bairstow). If your selection is dropped and doesn’t play in the 3rd Test, the pick will stand and you will get zero points for that player – so choose carefully!
