It’s been a cracking two days of racing at the Cheltenham Festival so far, but as we’re only at the half-way stage it’s still worth taking a look at our free Timeform 32-page Cheltenham e-guide here.

The highlight of today’s (Thursday) racing is whether favourite Annie Power, with 10 wins from 10 so far, can step up to the longer distance and beat four-time previous winner Big Buck’s in the feature race the World Hurdle at 3.20pm.

Tomorrow it’s the Gold Cup with defending champion Bobs Worth the favourite, but with real momentum gathering for Hennessy Gold Cup winner Triolo D’Alene, being ridden by A. P. McCoy, who is a 10/1 shot on our fixed odds prices.

Football

After more midweek Champions League misery for the English clubs, the focus is back on the Premier League this weekend with two absolute corkers taking place on Sunday.

First up it’s Manchester United versus Liverpool at Old Trafford at 1.30pm. Our traders give the Red Devils the edge, despite their indifferent recent form, United/Liverpool 0-0.2 on the Supremacy, United 6/4, Liverpool 9/5, the draw 12/5 on the fixed odds.

Saturday’s games begin with Hull hosting Manchester City at 12.45pm. We have the Citizens favourites at 40/85 on the fixed odds, Hull 11/2 for the win and the draw 3/1.

There are then six 3 o’clock kick-offs with our Supremacy prices; Everton/Cardiff 1.4-1.6, Newcastle/Fulham (h) 0.05- 0.25, Southampton/Norwich 0.9-1.1, Stoke/West Ham 0.25-0.45, Sunderland/C Palace 0.4-0.6 and Swansea/West Brom 0.5-0.7.

At 5.30pm league leaders Chelsea journey to Villa Park to take on the unpredictable Villains. We have Chelsea 1/2 for the win, Villa 6/1 and the draw 3/1.

The T20 Cricket World Cup starts on Sunday in Bangladesh and we’ll be covering all the action with our usual range of in-play fixed odds and spread betting selections on all 35 matches.

Rugby 

It’s the final round of Six Nations games this weekend with much hinging on the final match of the weekend, France v Ireland at 5pm on Saturday.

With England expected to win handsomely in Italy at 12.30pm (England/Italy 22-25 Points Supremacy) and Wales expected to beat Scotland at 2.45pm (Wales/Scotland 13 -16) it could come down to points difference if France beat Ireland.

However, our traders give the Irish the slight edge with the Supremacy price Ireland/France (h) 0-3.

Motor Racing 

The new F1 season gets underway on Sunday in Melbourne with new-look cars in place and a controversial double-points race now confirmed for the end of the season.

After two rounds of winter testing the new regulations and specifications have clearly flummoxed some of the teams with the betting suggesting this year could finally see an end to the dominance of Sebastian Vettel.

Lewis Hamilton is the 15/8 favourite to win the Championship with Vettel 15/4, Nico Rosberg 4/1, Fernando Alonso 6/1, Kimi Raikkonen 10/1 and Jenson Button 11/1.

And in the Constructors’ Championship Mercedes are 4/6, Ferrari 7/2, Red Bull 9/2, McLaren 9/1 and Williams 12/1.

As for the Australian GP betting itself, Vettel is way down the field at 12/1. Hamilton is again the favourite at 2/1 followed by Rosberg at 7/2, Alonso 8/1, Massa 10/1, Button 11/1 and Bottas and Raikkonen both 12/1.

Golf 

The newly-titled Valspar Championship – previously known as the Tampa Bay Championship and Transitions Chmpionship – takes the focus this week.

Some of the big names in action feature Luke Donald, Matt Kuchar, Jordan Spieth, Jason Dufner, Webb Simpson and Bryce Molder.

Tennis

Andy Murray struggled throughout the tournament before being knocked out by Milos Raonic. So who will come out on top?

Today’s (Thursday) clashes see a couple of intriguing affairs as John Higgins takes on Judd Trump and Shaun Murphy faces Ding Junhui.

Both are close to call with Higgins 19/20 and Trump 4/5, Trump/Higgins 0-3 on the 10-3 Supremacy while Junhui is 4/6 to progress and Murphy 6/5, Junhui/Murphy 1.5-4.5 on the 10-3 Supremacy.

The Premier League of Darts is hosted in Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena as we reach week six of the competition tonight (Thursday).

Adrian Lewis will be hoping to follow up his UK Open triumph from the weekend with victory against Gary Anderson.
