Saturday sees the start of the 2016 World Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.

In the pick of the first round matches defending champion Stuart Bingham faces two-time runner-up Ali Carter.

Gloucester host Exeter Chiefs in the Friday night Aviva Premier League match. The visitors go into this game riled by a last-minute European Champions Cup loss last time out. Will Gloucester feel the backlash?
