Football

The Premier League is done and dusted for another season, but why not relive the season highlights by reading our blogger's Top 10 Spread Betting Moments of the 13-14 Premier League Season.

On Saturday Arsenal bid to end their nine-year trophy drought when they take on Hull in the FA Cup final at 5pm. The Gunners are strong 4/9 favourites with Hull 13/2 and the draw 3/1. Also at 5pm on Saturday, the Spanish La Liga title is decided as Atletico Madrid travel to Barcelona needing just a draw to be crowned champions with Barca needing the win to finish top. Barca are 8/11 for the win, the draw is 13/5 and an Atletico win is 7/2.

Roy Hodgson announced his provisional England squad on Monday and our World Cup fixed odds and spread betting tournament outrights are live now. To win the tournament England are 28/1 and to reach the final they are priced at 12/1. On our 100-75-50-25-10-0 Spread Index (based on 100 points to the winner, 75 to runner-up, 50 to losing semi-finalists, 25 to losing quarter-finalists and 10 to losing last 16 teams), England are priced 16 - 19.

As far as the group is concerned England are 12/5 to win Group D and 4/6 to qualify to the knockout stages. For the 25-10-5 Group Index (based on 25 points for winning the group, 10 for finishing second, 5 for finishing third), England are 10.25 - 11.75.

We have launched our new Cricket In-Play Match Centre to enhance your live cricket fixed odds and spread betting experience with Spreadex.

As well as showing a ball-by-ball update on the action and providing a Scorecard displaying, wickets, number of 4s, 6s and wides, the Match Centre also shows live graphs of each teams' run rate, Worm (which plots the total runs as they are accumulated across overs) and Manhattan (which shows the runs per over across the innings in a bar chart).

Horse Racing

The highlight of this week’s racing is the Dante Festival from York. After today’s drama in the Dante Stakes, punters will be looking ahead to the Yorkshire Cup at 2.30pm tomorrow.

The Dante Stakes, ran at 2.45pm today, saw hot favourite True Story ridden into third as The Grey Gatsby came home first ahead of Arod.

The result saw the Godolphin colt drift from 11/2 second favourite for the Derby at Epsom next month to 14/1. Australia remains the 6/4 favourite ahead of Western Hymn at 10/1 and Orchestra and Geoffrey Chaucer at 11/1.

Tennis

With the second major of the season, the French Open, less than two weeks away the big names of the game are continuing their clay preparations as they compete in the ATP and WTA Rome event.

Tonight’s live games include David Ferrer v Ernests Gulbis and Philipp Kohlschreiber v Novak Djokovic. Ferrer is 1/3 for the win with Gulbis 9/4 in the first game while Kohlschreiber is 9/1 to cause an upset with Djokovic the strong 1/18 favourite to progress.

As far as the outright betting goes for the French Open, Rafael Nadal is 10/11 favourite, Djokovic 9/4, Stan Warwinka 7/1, Roger Federer 16/1, Ferrer 20/1, Kei Nishikori 25/1, Andy Murray and Tomas Berdych both 40/1.

In the women's side of the draw Serena Williams is the 7/4 favourite followed by Maria Sharapova at 4/1, Na Li at 6/1, Simona Halep 10/1, Victoria Azarenka 16/1, Ana Ivanovic 22/1 and Agnieszka Radwanska 28/1.
