Football

After the English clubs spluttered in the Champions League last night, attentions turn to the Europa League this evening with Asteras Tripolis v Tottenham (Tripolis 7/2, draw 5/2, Spurs 8/11) and Astra Giurgiu v Celtic (Giurgiu 15/8, draw 21/10, Celtic 7/5) at 6pm and Everton v Lille (Everton 8/11, draw 12/5, Lille 15/4) at 8.05pm.

Looking ahead to the weekend's football, it's round one of the FA Cup plus in the Premier League all eyes will be on Liverpool v Chelsea at 12.45pm on Saturday with Chelsea favourites in our spread betting Goal Supremacy market at Chelsea/Liverpool (h) 0.25 – 0.45.

Liverpool have been unrecognisable from the side that almost took the title last term. So with this in mind, our blogger has been looking at how to spread bet on Liverpool this season.
As for the rest of the Premier League games, there are four 3pm kick-offs with the spread betting Goal Supremacy prices; Burnley/Hull 0.05 – 0.25, Man United/Palace 1.6 – 1.8, Southampton/Leicester 1.2 – 1.4 and West Ham/Aston Villa 0.7 – 0.9.

There's an England v New Zealand double header this weekend with the start of the rugby union Autumn Tests and the continuing Four Nations rugby league tournament from the Southern Hemisphere.

For Saturday's 2.30pm union clash at Twickenham we have the All Blacks strong 4/15 favourites with England 3/1 and the draw 22/1. Our spread betting Points Supremacy market is New Zealand/England (h) 8 – 11.

Tennis

Andy Murray's fantastic run of late season form saw him sneak into the top eight places and gain a place in the season-ending World Tour Finals which starts at London's 02 on Sunday.

Murray faces Kei Nishikori in the tournament opener on Sunday, with Murray 2/5 to win, Nishikori 15/8 and our spread betting 10-5 Match Supremacy price Murray/Nishikori 5 – 8.

As for the outright markets, Novak Djokovic is 5/6 favourite followed by Roger Federer at 3/1 and Murray at 11/2. We also have an outright spread betting index and group indices to play on as well as in-play coverage of every match throughout next week.

Cricket

We're in-play on the second India v Sri Lanka ODI today (Thursday) and will also have live betting on the second Australia v South Africa T20 tomorrow and Pakistan v New Zealand first Test on Sunday.

England's first ODI against Sri Lanka starts at the end of the month. England are 15/8 to win the seven-match series and Sri Lanka 2/5.

Formula One

The penultimate Grand Prix of the season takes place in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Lewis Hamilton leading teammate Nico Rosberg by 24 points – however remember the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi has double the usual points.

Hamilton is now 1/7 to take the title with Rosberg 4/1. As for this weekend's race, Hamilton is 4/7 favourite with Rosberg 12/5.

Our final Drivers' Season points quotes are 371 – 376 for Hamilton (currently on 316) and 339 – 344 for Rosberg (currently on 292).

American Football

Superbowl outright favourites Denver Broncos came unstuck last week as they crashed 43-21 at New England Patriots meaning their fixed odds Superbowl prices have lengthened slightly from 9/4 to 3/1 while New England's outright price shortened from 10/1 to 6/1.

Denver are at Oakland on Sunday with our spread betting Points Supremacy quote Denver/Oakland 10.5 – 12.5.

Week 10's action starts with Cleveland at Cincinnati in the early hours of Friday morning UK-time.

Our golf betting this week takes in the HSBC World Golf Championships from Shanghai and the Sanderson Farms Championship from Mississippi on the PGA Tour.

Darts

Wolverhampton Civic Hall is the venue for the Grand Prix of Darts which starts on Saturday.

The tournament starts with a round robin group stage as all the players play three group games before the top two players from each of the eight groups progress to the knockout phase.

Phil Taylor is the defending champion and is 2/1 to retain his crown behind favourite Michael van Gerwen at 11/8.

Snooker

The Champion of Champions tournament takes place in Coventry with Ronnie O'Sullivan out to retain his crown.

O'Sullivan is the outright 21/20 favourite ahead of Judd Trump at 5/2 and Ding Junhui at 10/3.

WBA and IBF light-heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins takes on Russian knockout artist and WBO belt-holder Sergey Kovalev in a unification bout in Atlantic City this weekend.

Unbeaten Kovalev has 23 knockouts from his 25 wins and is 4/11 for the victory with Hopkins 9/4 and the draw 22/1.

American Sports

The Major League Baseball season may be over after the San Francisco Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals by four games to three to clinch their third World Series Championship, however we have plenty of NHL and NBA action from across the pond.

There has been a big move in the betting for next Prime Minister after David Cameron with Andy Burnham now 4/11 favourite.

Ed Miliband is now 6/5 from 10/11, Boris Johnson 9/2, Theresa May 17/2, Yvette Cooper 10/1, George Osborne 14/1, Chuka Umunna, 22/1 and Nigel Farage 25/1.

Looking ahead to the next UK General Election in May of 2015, Labour remain favourites to get most seats at 8/11 with the Conservatives 21/20, UKIP shortening to 40/1 from 66/1 and the Lib Dems 250/1.

In terms of overall majority, no overall majority is 8/13, Labour majority is 5/2, Conservative majority is 4/1, UKIP majority is 80/1 and Lib Dem majority is 200/1.
