Football

With domestic league action returning after the international break our blogger has been looking at the spread betting equivalent to the fixed odds accumulator – how to place football spread bets over groups of games.

The big game in the Premier League sees Arsenal host Manchester United at 5.30pm on Saturday. The Gunners are 11/10, United 9/4, the draw 5/2 and our spread betting Goal Supremacy quote is Arsenal/Manchester United 0.25 – 0.45.

Monday night's game sees struggling Aston Villa welcome high-flying Southampton to Villa Park. The Villains are 17/4, Saints 8/11, the draw 13/5 and our spread betting Goal Supremacy price Southampton/Villa (h) 0.7 – 0.9.

Formula One

The F1 season will be decided at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday. So ahead of the race, to get all the vital season stats simply view our Lewis Hamilton v Nico Rosberg F1 Infographic.

Hamilton is 17 points clear of Rosberg, but with double the usual points up for grabs the German still has hope of claiming the championship if he can win the race and Hamilton finishes third or lower.

Hamilton is 2/9 to take the title and Rosberg 3/1. As for the race itself, Hamilton is 10/11 favourite and Rosberg 7/5.

Horse Racing

After some top class racing at the Cheltenham Open last weekend, this week the big names are lining up for the two-day Betfair Chase Festival at Haydock tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.

The big race of the meeting is the Betfair Chase on Saturday. As of Thursday morning, our Antepost prices had Cue Card and Silviniaco Conti joint 3/1 favourites ahead of Dynaste at 10/3, Taquin Du Seuil at 6/1 and Menorah at 7/1.

Rugby

England will be out to stop the rot of five defeats in a row when they take on Samoa in the latest round of Autumn Test fixtures this weekend.

Our traders have England as strong favourites for the 7pm Saturday kick-off at 1/25 for the win.

Cricket

England's first ODI against Sri Lanka is on Wednesday next week (26th November). England are 15/8 to win the seven-match series and Sri Lanka 2/5.

Tennis

The tennis season is all-but over after the World Tour Finals at London's 02 last week - however there is the small matter of the Davis Cup final to be decided from tomorrow (Friday).

Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka will be hoping to put recent negative press coverage behind them when they compete for Switzerland against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gael Monfils, representing France.

We'll have in-play fixed odds and spread betting prices on all the action from the clay in Lille, Paris covering the singles rubbers on Friday and Sunday and the doubles on Saturday.

American Football

New England Patriots were the big movers in the outright NFL betting over the weekend after they beat Indianapolis Colts 42-20 and Denver Broncos went down 22-7 against St Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks lost 24-20 to Kansas City Chiefs.

New England moved from 13/2 to 9/2 with Denver lengthening from 11/4 to 15/4 and Seattle from 13/2 to 9/1.

The first game up in week 12 is Kansas City at Oakland in the early hours of Friday morning UK-time with Kansas City 4/15, Oakland 11/4 and our spread betting Points Supremacy quote 8.5 – 10.5.

Golf

Rory McIlroy is back in action for the first time since the Alfred Dunhill Links Championships as he competes in the DP World Tour Championships in Dubai on the European Tour.

Other names in the field include Henrik Stenson, Justin Rose, Lee Westwood, Victor Dubuisson, Sergio Garcia and Martin Kaymer.

There's a busy weekend of boxing ahead both domestically and in China with the Nathan Cleverly v Tony Bellew rematch headlining a strong card from Liverpool and Manny Pacquiao v Chris Algieri from Macau, China in the early hours of Sunday morning UK-time.

Both Cleverly and Bellew are 10/11 for the win on Saturday with the draw 25/1 and our spread betting Fight Minutes 28 – 29.5.

The posturing has begun ahead of the next UK General Election in May of 2015. Labour remain favourites to get most seats at 5/6 but the Conservatives have shortened to even money, UKIP are 40/1 and the Lib Dems 250/1.

In terms of overall majority, no overall majority is 4/7, Labour majority is 14/5, Conservative majority is 4/1, UKIP majority is 80/1 and Lib Dem majority is 200/1.

As for Next Prime Minister after David Cameron betting, Ed Miliband is 6/5 favourite, Boris Johnson 9/2, Theresa May 10/1, Yvette Cooper 12/1, George Osborne 14/1, Andy Burnham and Chuka Umunna 16/1 and Nigel Farage 18/1.
