Sports Update
Football

Top flight domestic action is put on hold this week as the latest round of World Cup Qualifiers gets underway.

On Friday evening at 20:00 England take on minnows San Marino. Roy Hodgson’s side scored five when these two last met back in October. Will we be in for a goal fest this time around? Our Total Goals quote is currently 5.3-5.5.

At the same time at Hampden Park Scotland host Wales. Gordon Strachan’s side have won their last two matches. Can they make it three in a row? We have Scotland at 8/11 for the win, with Wales at 15/4 and the draw 12/5.

Northern Ireland and Russia go head-to-head at Windsor Park in the 19:45 match. Fabio Capello’s men have won all four of their Group F qualifiers without conceding a goal. Will the home side be able to end this run? Our Supremacy quote is Russia/N. Ireland 0.95 - 1.15.

Don't forget we'll also be in-play on Isreal v Portugal, Croatia v Serbia, Spain v Finland, Uruguay v Paraguay and Argentina v Venezuela.

And don’t forget about our Take Your Money feature allowing you to close out of your fixed odds bets in-play. Find out more here.

Cricket

England’s third Test with New Zealand starts at 21.30 this evening (Thursday). With the first two matches ending in draws can Alastair Cook’s side claim their first victory of the series in Auckland? We’re quoting their 25:10 at 16.5-18.

Jonathan Trott was in good form making 121 runs in the second Test. Will he do the same here? His runs quote is currently 77-84, with Cook at 89-96 and Nick Compton 64-71.

Elsewhere, we will also be covering the action in the second Test between the West Indies and Zimbabwe, the fourth Test between India and Australia and the ODI’s between South Africa and Pakistan.

Horse Racing

This year’s Cheltenham Festival is now just a memory, but our thoughts now turn to April’s Grand National. Our ante-post prices are out with On His Own leading the way at 9/1, with Seabass at 12/1 and Teaforthree at 16/1 just to name a few.

We are also offering prices for other upcoming races. Don’t see a price for a horse in a particular race that you are interested in?

Then simply email us at antepost@spreadex.com stating the horse and race in question and we will get back to you with a price.

Don’t forget that we are now offering an Unnamed Favourite market on each horse race. This allows you to place a bet on whichever horse is the starting price favourite at the off. Note that if the favourite is nominated and two or more runners start at the shortest odds, then stakes are equally divided over the ‘joint’ or ‘co’ favourites created. So, if you place £10 on ‘Unnamed Favourite’ and there are two favourites, you will get a £5 bet on each of them.

The rugby league action gets underway tonight (Thursday) in the championship as Leigh host Barrow. The last time these two met the Centurions triumphed 48-16. Our Supremacy quote here is Leigh/Barrow 33-36.

Tomorrow we'll be in-play on Ospreys v Dragons (Osp/Dra 2-5) in the NRL.

Switching codes, don't forget to take a look at our Heineken Cup quarter final quotes including Supremacy bets such as Clermont/Montpellier 10-13 and Saracens/Ulster 2-5.

We will also be covering the Rugby League, NRL, Hong Kong Sevens and the Super Rugby.

The US tour this week comes from the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Tiger Woods currently leads the way, but faces competition from Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia and Phil Mickelson.

World number three Luke Donald makes his debut in this week’s European Tour date at the Maybank Malaysian Open. Will he triumph at the first time of asking or will Char Schwartzel, Matteo Manassero or Padraig Harrington, to name a few, get in his way?
