Football

Liverpool are the 1/6 Premier League title favourites after results last weekend – and Sunday’s big 2.05pm clash against Chelsea could finally wipe the 33/1 Blues out of the running. Liverpool are 8/13 for the win, Chelsea 17/4 and the draw 3/1.

Man City make the tricky trip to in-form Crystal Palace at 4.10pm on Sunday knowing a win is imperative and our traders have them as 1.25 – 1.45 favourites in our spread betting Supremacy market.

Sunday’s early kick-off at noon sees resurgent Sunderland take on Cardiff in a classic relegation ‘six pointer’ at the Stadium of Light. Our Supremacy price for this one is Sunderland/Cardiff 0.5 – 0.7.

The weekend starts with Everton battling for a fourth place finish as they make the journey to Southampton. This is a close one to call for our traders who have the Toffees as slight 7/5 favourites with the Saints 15/8 and the draw 12/5.

There are then four 3pm kick-offs with our Supremacy prices; Fulham/Hull 0.05 – 0.25, Tottenham/Stoke (h) 0.15 – 0.35, Swansea/Aston Villa 0.8 – 1 and West Brom/West Ham 0.55 – 0.75.

Saturday’s 5.30pm clash sees Manchester United, with Ryan Giggs taking temporary charge after David Moyes’ sacking, host struggling Norwich. We have United at 4/11, the Canaries 8/1 and the draw 15/4.

Don’t forget that with Spreadex you can place financial spread bets as well as sports bets from the same account and our blogger has been looking at how David Moyes’ reign affected Manchester United’s share price.

Sunday’s three matches are detailed above. The weekend’s fixtures are then rounded off with Arsenal hosting a Newcastle side who have lost five in a row, scoring just once in the process. Arsenal are 2/9 for the win, the Magpies 12/1.

We’ll also have our usual full range of live and non-live coverage on the rest of the English League and non-league games, Scottish leagues, European leagues and other world leagues.
