FOOTBALL

A jam-packed weekend of FA Cup 4th round football begins on Friday night as League Two play-off contenders Northampton host Championship also-rans Derby at 8pm on BT Sport 1.

Also this Friday at 8pm, on BT Sport Extra, QPR take on Sheffield Wednesday. Last time the pair met there were 7 yellow cards – will their FA Cup tie be just as fiery?

After hammering West Ham on Wednesday, Leicester travel to Brentford – who are pushing for a place in the Premier League next season – at 12.45pm on BBC One this Saturday.

Given a chance to rebound after a wobbly month in the league, Chelsea visit Hull at 5.30pm on BT Sport 1.

Heading into Sunday and Man City could well demolish Fulham at 1pm on BBC One, even if the Cottagers are closing in on Championship leaders West Brom and Leeds.

Aiming to claim the scalp of all scalps, Shrewsbury Town host the indomitable Liverpool at 5pm on BBC One.

Finally on Monday, Bournemouth face Arsenal at 8pm on BT Sport 1, in a game that could well need a replay if the Gunners’ recent drawing tendencies are anything to go by.
