Rugby

After a week break the Six Nations returns with Ireland v England on Sunday potentially deciding the overall tournament and Grand Slam winners. Read our blogger's Six Nations betting preview here.

Football

The British clubs will be looking for better results in the Europa League than in the Champions League when Liverpool, Spurs, Everton and Celtic do battle this evening. Read our blogger's Europa League betting preview here.

Liverpool (7/5) travel to take on Besiktas (15/8), Spurs (11/4) make the trip to Fiorentina (19/20) and Celtic (5/1) make the journey to Milan to play Inter (8/15) with all games kicking off at 6pm.

At 8.05pm Everton host Young Boys with a 4-1 lead from the first leg. Our spread betting Goal Supremacy is Everton/Young Boys 0.8 - 1.

Zarkandar and Rock On Ruby are 9/2 joint favourites for the World Hurdle with Rock on Ruby at 15/2 and Annie Power at 8/1 while Silviniaco Conti is the 3/1 favourite for the Gold Cup ahead of Many Clouds at 8/1, Road to Riches 17/2 and Holywell at 9/1.

Cricket

England put their two crushing opening World Cup defeats behind them to record a 119-run win over Scotland and next up for Eoin Morgan's men is Sri Lanka overnight on Sunday, into Monday morning UK-time.

Before that we have in-play fixed odds and spread betting on South Africa v West Indies and, in what is sure to be a fiery affair, Australia v New Zealand.

Andy Murray crashed out of the Dubai Championships losing 6-1, 6-3 to Croatian teenager Borna Coric.

The world's best players will be hoping to build their form at the right time ahead of April's Masters and this weekend we're betting on the Honda Classic and the Joburg Open.

Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose and Brooks Koepka are among those in contention for the former while the latter's field includes the likes of Thomas Pieters, Thomas Aiken, George Coetzee and Byeong Hun An.

Looking ahead to the Masters itself, McIlroy is the 4/1 favourite ahead of Jason Day at 12/1, Adam Scott, Bubba Watson and Jordan Spieth all at 14/1 and Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson both at 22/1.

The political scandal keeps coming ahead of the General Election in May with a sting on Jack Straw and Malcolm Rifkind following hot on the heels of the HSBC Swiss unit tax controversy.

The Conservatives' number of predicted seats is now 280 – 286, Labour's 275 – 281, the SNP's 35.5 – 38.5, Lib Dems' 24.5 – 27.5 and UKIP 4.5 – 6.5.

Our fixed odds prices for the most seats are Conservatives at 4/7, Labour 7/5, UKIP 100/1 and Lib Dems 500/1.

In terms of overall majority, No Overall Majority is 2/9, Conservative Majority 9/2, Labour Majority 12/1, UKIP Majority 100/1 and Lib Dem Majority 500/1.
