Sports Update
Football

The action in the Premier League this week is as tasty as any Easter Egg as we return to domestic matters after the latest round of World Cup qualifiers.

The 12:45pm game on Saturday sees Man Utd travel to Sunderland. The Red Devils have won the last four fixtures between these two. Will this be an easy victory for them as well? Our Supremacy quote is Man Utd/Sunderland 0.8-1.

There are six 3pm fixtures in the top flight this week, with matches including Arsenal v Reading, Man City v Newcastle, Southampton v Chelsea, Swansea v Tottenham, West Ham v West Brom and Wigan v Norwich.

At 5.30pm Everton host Stoke. The Toffees have won back-to-back home games. Can they make it three in a row? We have David Moyes’ side at 4/7 for the win, Stoke at 5/1 and the draw 14/5.

Sunday at 1.30pm sees Aston Villa lock horns with Liverpool. 13 goals have been scored in the visitors last three games. Our Total Goals quote is currently 3-3.2.

The final Premier League game of the weekend is on Monday where Martin Jol’s Fulham take on Harry Redknapp’s QPR. Our Supremacy quote in this London derby is Fulham/QPR 0.45-0.65.

And don’t forget about our Take Your Money feature allowing you to close out of your fixed odds bets in-play. Find out more here.

The Boat Race

This Sunday sees the 159th Varsity Boat Race. Defending Champions Cambridge lead Oxford by 81 wins to 76 with one dead heat. But they will have their work cut out this time as we make Oxford favourites with a 10-3 Supremacy quote of 6-9. Our predicted Winning Distance in lengths is 3.4-3.9. To make the action more exciting we will also be trading this market in-running.

Horse Racing

Our thoughts now turn to next month’s Grand National. Ante-post prices are now out with On His Own leading the way at 7/1, with Cappa Bleu at 12/1 and Colbert Station at 14/1 just to name a few.

We are also offering prices for other upcoming races. Don’t see a price for a horse in a particular race that you are interested in?

Then simply email us at antepost@spreadex.com stating the horse and race in question and we will get back to you with a price.

Don’t forget that we are now offering an Unnamed Favourite market on each horse race. This allows you to place a bet on whichever horse is the starting price favourite at the off. Note that if the favourite is nominated and two or more runners start at the shortest odds, then stakes are equally divided over the ‘joint’ or ‘co’ favourites created. So, if you place £10 on ‘Unnamed Favourite’ and there are two favourites, you will get a £5 bet on each of them.

Rugby

The rugby league action gets underway tomorrow (Thursday) in the Super League as Leeds host Bradford. The last time these two met the points were shared as they played out a 24-24 draw. Our Supremacy quote here is Leeds/Bradford 10-13.

Tomorrow’s live games in the Aviva Premiership sees Gloucester host Harlequins at Kingsholm. The last four games have all been won by the home side of the day. Will this one follow form?

We will also be covering more Rugby League, Aviva Prem, Rabo Direct Pro 12, NRL, Japan Sevens and the Super Rugby.

Golf

The US tour this week comes from the Redstone Golf Course in Humble for the Shell Houston Open. Hunter Mahan defends his title, but will he be able to see off a tough field including Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley and Steve Stricker?

This week’s European Tour date comes from Morocco for the Trophée Hasan II. F Molinari leads the way in the betting but will face competition from Stephen Gallacher and Pablo Larrazabal to name a few.
