There are two rounds of Premier League games being played over the New Year period with televised action on every day from Friday to Wednesday.

Rugby

Tomorrow night (Friday) sees Newcastle Falcons host Wasps live on BT Sport 1 at 7.45pm before Bath v Exeter on New Year's Eve, again on BT Sport 1, at 3pm.

There are then four matches on New Year's Day with the televised game Leicester v Saracens at 3pm.

Darts

The PDC World Championships is building towards a climax as today sees the conclusion of the last 16 stage with Michael van Gerwen facing Darren Webster.

The quarter-finals are scheduled to take place on Friday, semis on Sunday and the final on Monday.
