Sports Update

Football

All eyes are on Wembley this bank holiday weekend for Bayern v Dortmund in the Champions League final on Saturday night and Palace v Watford for the Championship Play-Off Final on Monday. We have an extended in-play service for the all-German showpiece, including Player Card Minutes and a range of Specials.

Our fixed odds Match Odds have Bayern favourites at 8/11, Dortmund at 7/2 and the draw 11/4 with our Supremacy price Bayern/Dortmund 0.6-0.8.

Our traders have Watford as favourites in the Championship Play-Off Final with the Hornets 5/4, Palace 9/4 and the draw 9/4 with our Supremacy price Watford/Palace 0.15-0.35.

There’s also a full group of fixtures in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday night with Barca at Espanyol and Real Madrid at Sociedad.

Cricket


After Stuart Broad’s 7 for 44 skittled New Zealand for a second-innings 68 and handed England a 170-run win in the first Test, attentions turn to the second and final Test at Headingley tomorrow (Friday).  We have England 4/7, New Zealand 8/1 and the draw 2/1.

Rugby

After high drama in the Heineken Cup Final and Challenge Cup Finals last weekend, this week attentions turn to the Aviva Premiership Final between Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers and the Rabo Pro 12 Direct Final between Leinster and Ulster.

Leicester have beaten Northampton twice already this season 36-8 at Franklin’s Gardens and 16-12 at Welford Road.

They are 2/5 to win again, Northampton are 9/4 and the draw is 16/1. Our Supremacy price is Leicester/Northampton 5-8.

Ulster have beaten Leinster 22-18 and 27-19 already this season but are underdogs for the final at 13/8 with Leinster 1/2 and the draw 20/1. Our Supremacy price is Leinster/Ulster 3-6.

Golf


Some of the biggest names in golf are in action at Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship.

Luke Donald is looking to make it a hat-trick of wins after securing back-to-back victories with success last year, when Justin Rose and Paul Lawrie tied for second place.

Sergio Garcia plays despite his controversial comments over Tiger Woods while Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and Miguel Angel Jimenez are also among the field.

We’re also covering the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial where Zach Johnson will be aiming to defend his title.

Horse Racing

The Oaks and Derby are just over a week away and we have Ante-post prices available on both.

2000 Guineas winner Dawn Approach leads the betting for the Derby at 10/11 with Battle of Marengo 5/1, Ocovango 6/1 and Ruler of the World and Chopin both 10/1 shots.

For the Oaks, Secret Gesture is the 5/2 favourite with Moth 3/1 and Liber Nauticus 7/2.

It’s the inaugural Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters tournament tonight (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) at the The Dubai Tennis Stadium.

The quarter final draw sees Phil Taylor play Andy Hamilton, Michael van Gerwen face Wes Newton, Adrian Lewis tackle Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade clash with Simon Whitlock.

Fernando Alonso cruised to victory in the Spanish Grand Prix last time out to move up to third in the drivers table behind Kimi Raikkonen in second and Sebastian Vettel at the top of the pile.
