Spread Bets of the Week

1. Chelsea v Real Madrid – 8pm Wednesday, BT Sport 2
With Chelsea grabbing a creditable draw and an away goal in Spain, can they complete the job at Stamford Bridge here and reach a first Champions League final since their fairy-tale victory in 2012?

Thomas Tuchel’s side will surely be confident about reaching the showpiece after their fantastic recent form and will likely be the fresher side given the exertions of Real Madrid in their hotly-contested La Liga title challenge.

The home side are slight favourites with Spreadex, with a Chelsea/Real Madrid Supremacy spread of 0.25-0.45 available, and match odds of Chelsea at 6/5 to Madrid’s 12/5.

2. Roma v Man Utd – 8pm Thursday, BT Sport 2
After demolishing the Italian side 6-2 at Old Trafford last week, can Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side finish the job in Rome and break their semi-final curse?

The chances of an improbable comeback look extremely slim, not least because of the first leg result and Utd’s formidable away form, but also due to Roma seeming to be a side in somewhat disarray, without a victory in their last 6 matches in all competitions.

Roma are available at match odds of 13/5, against Utd’s 17/20. Spreadex are also offering a Man Utd/Roma(h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.5-0.7, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 166-181.

3. Arsenal v Villarreal – 8pm Thursday, BT Sport 3
After escaping Spain with a slim 2-1 defeat and an all-important away goal last week, it all comes down to this match for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal’s silverware aims and Champions League ambitions for next season.

Unai Emery’s Villarreal side are still one of only two teams in European competition this season that have yet to taste defeat (along with Man City in the UCL), and know that if they avoid defeat here they will grab a place in the final, while Arsenal will look to make home advantage count and potentially salvage a disappointing season.

The home side are favourites to do just that, with Spreadex offering a Arsenal/Villarreal Goal Supremacy spread of 0.5-0.7, alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.75-2.95 and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 140-150.
