FOOTBALL

Coming in hot after the international break, this weekend’s Premier League fixtures list promises an extension of the drama we’ve seen already.

Kicking off the weekend with a bang is a Merseyside derby that pits 1st place Everton – the only team to win 4 in 4 this season – against defending champions Liverpool at 12.30pm this Saturday on BT Sport 1.

Making history as the first Premier League game available to purchase on BT Sport Box Office, a yet-to-settle Chelsea then host Southampton at 3pm.

Continuing a jam-packed Saturday, Man City – potentially missing Sterling and De Bruyne – face a Thomas Partey-sporting Arsenal at 5.30pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

Saturday’s headline game is found on Sky Sports Box Office, as Man United make the trip to Newcastle at 8pm.

In another BT Sport Box Office offering, a seriously troubled Fulham travel to a similarly rocky Sheffield United at 12pm this Sunday.

A tough to call battle between Crystal Palace and Brighton – both in the bottom half of the table – is at 2pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

In yet another notable fixture, Tottenham meet West Ham in a London derby at 4.30pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

Purchasable on Sky Sports Box Office, 3rd place Leicester host 2nd place Aston Villa – alongside the Toffees the only unbeaten team in the league – at 7.15pm this Sunday.

Moving to Monday and West Brom face Burnley at 5.30pm, once again available on Sky Sports Box Office.

And finally, Leeds attempt to take Wolves’s place as everyone’s favourite upstarts, at 8pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

As for the Championship, on Friday night Derby take on Watford at 7.45pm, while on Saturday Preston face Cardiff at 12pm, with both games live on Sky Sports Football.
