Spread Bets of the Weekend

1. Leicester v Newcastle – 8pm Friday, Sky Sports Main Event
While Newcastle are almost guaranteed safety, Leicester still need 8 points from their final 4 matches to guarantee a coveted place in next season’s Champions League.

The Foxes should be confident of grabbing an important victory in this Friday night fixture, considering that they have beaten the visitors in their last 3 PL match-ups, as well as producing a 5-0 drubbing in the last H2H at home.

Leicester are available at match odds of 2/5, against Newcastle’s 6/1. Spreadex are also offering a Leicester/Newcastle Goal Supremacy spread of 1.15-1.35, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 138-148.

2. Man City v Chelsea – 5.30pm Saturday, Sky Sports PL
With an all-English Champions League final now set between these two sides, this audition will be about deciding domestic matters, with Chelsea looking to solidify a place in the top 4, while City will know that they could win the league title.

The previous H2Hs have been evenly split, with City winning 3-1 at Stamford Bridge earlier this season, while Chelsea grabbed a 1-0 win in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley in April.

The home side are favourites with Spreadex, with a Man City/Chelsea Supremacy spread of 0.45-0.65 available, and match odds of City at 19/20 to Chelsea’s 16/5.

3. West Ham v Everton – 4.30pm Sunday, Sky Sports PL
In a crucial match-up for European hopefuls, both sides badly need three points to keep their dreams alive, with a loss here seemingly terminal for Everton’s ambitions especially.

With the Toffees winning only one of their last 8 matches in all competitions, the Hammers should be fairly confident of grabbing a crucial victory, and do a league double over Everton after their 1-0 victory at Goodison Park on New Year’s Day.

The home side are slight favourites to do just that, with Spreadex offering a West Ham/Everton Goal Supremacy spread of 0.15-0.35, alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.6-2.8 and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 132-142.
