Spread Bets of the Week

1. PSG v Man City – 8pm Wednesday, BT Sport 2
With City closing in on securing the Premier League title, can they move one step closer to an elusive Champions League crown with a positive result at the Parc des Princes?

Although the Parisians will surely be confident of progressing after knocking out holders Bayern last time out, the potential absence of star-man Kylian Mbappe through injury could flip the balance. City are also the only undefeated side in this year’s competition.

The visitors are very slight favourites, with a Man City/PSG(h) Supremacy spread of 0.25-0.45 available, and match odds of City at 11/10 to PSG’s 11/5.

2. Man Utd v Roma – 8pm Thursday, BT Sport 2
Can Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men move a step closer to silverware in the Europa League and break their losing run in semi-finals by grabbing a crucial first-leg victory at Old Trafford?

After a goalless draw on Sunday, Utd’s improbable league push is likely over, which means all focus will turn to this tie with their Italian rivals – who they famously thumped 7-1 at the Theatre of Dreams in 2007 in the Champions League.

Utd are available at match odds of 8/15, against Roma’s 9/2. Spreadex are also offering a Man Utd/Roma Goal Supremacy spread of 0.9-1.1, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 138-148.

3. Villarreal v Arsenal – 8pm Thursday, BT Sport 3
In a match-up between Spanish managers, Unai Emery will face his former club, as Villarreal’s custodian will look to lead the ‘Yellow Submarine’ to a European Final ahead of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

These sides have met in the last 4 of European competition before, with a famously tight victory for the Gunners, winning 1-0 on aggregate in the Champions League semi-finals. With Arsenal unlikely to achieve European football through the league route, this competition has become even more paramount.

The home side are minor favourites to grab a first-leg victory, with Spreadex offering a Villarreal/Arsenal Goal Supremacy spread of 0-0.2, alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.4-2.6 and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 123-133.
