Spurs v Southampton, Aston Villa v Man City, What Happens Next?

1. Tottenham v Southampton – 6pm Wednesday, Sky Sports Premier League
Spurs go into Wednesday night without Jose Mourinho, after the Portuguese manager was given the boot on Monday morning.

Tottenham likely aren’t in too much danger, however. The Saints have only 2 league wins in their last 14 games and are coming off their FA Cup semi-final defeat to Leicester.

Even without the injured Harry Kane, the hosts are at a Tottenham/Southampton Goal Supremacy spread of 0.65-0.85, with match odds of 3/4 to Southampton’s 7/2.

2. Aston Villa v Man City – 8.15pm Wednesday, Sky Sports Premier League
Quadruple dreams over, Man City now need to make sure they don’t let the league slip. While City were exiting the FA Cup, Man United reduced their lead at the top to 8 points – not insurmountable if Guardiola and co. have a wobble.

With fewer games played than any other team in the league, Villa can still nab a place in the Europa League next season. Yet they’ve been spotty in the last couple of months and have already lost 2-0 to City once this season.

That puts Villa at match odds of 7/1, against City’s 2/5. Spreadex is also offering a Man City/Villa (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1.3-1.5, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 144-154.

3. Leicester v West Brom – 8pm Thursday, BT Sport 1
Into the FA Cup final, Leicester now need to beef up their chances of finishing in the top 4 following back-to-back losses in the league.

And they’re up against a West Brom side refusing to accept they are going down. With 3 wins in their last 6 games, the Baggies are on 24 points, 9 adrift of Burnley with a game in hand.

Though league form should dictate otherwise, Spreadex is offering a confident Leicester/West Brom Goal Supremacy spread of 0.9-1.1, alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.55-2.75 and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 130-140.
