Weekend's Big Winning Bets

Sporting action returned on Boxing Day with lots of action from around the world. However, all eyes were on the Premier League since its World Cup hiatus in early November.

The PDC World Championships took over Ally Pally once again on Tuesday night, which saw world number two Peter Wright’s tournament end thanks to a 4-1 thumping by Belgian Kim Huybrechts.

We have scoured the results from across the UK, Europe and beyond to bring you three big winning spread markets from the last two days.

CRYSTAL PALACE v FULHAM – CRYSTAL PALACE MULTI-BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 875)

The Premier League returned with a bang on Boxing Day amid a plethora of away wins – among them a thumping 3-0 win for Fulham at nine-man Crystal Palace with Bobby Reid, Tim Ream and Aleksandar Mitrovic on target.

The Cottagers were helped on their way by Tyrick Mitchell and James Tomkins being sent off in either half for the hosts. For spread betters this meant a great opportunity to profit from our Bookings markets which gives 10 points per yellow and 25 points per red.

Crystal Palace Multi-Bookings, which calculates Crystal Palace first half Bookings points x Crystal Palace second half Bookings points, made up at whopping 875 from a pre-match spread of 42-67, meaning a tasty profit of 808x their stake for buyers.

AUSTRALIA v SOUTH AFRICA – DAVID WARNER RUNS (SETTLED AT 200)

Australia were closing in on taking an unassailable 2-0 series-sealing win against South Africa at the time of writing in the second Test in Melbourne, giving the Proteas a target of 371 runs with nine wickets remaining at the end of Day Three.

The pick of the Aussie batsmen was opener David Warner who reached a magnificent 200 before being bowled by Anrich Nortje. Spread betters who bought on his opening Runs spread of 40-45 would have made themselves a profit of 155x their stake, although those clever enough to close out in-play at the opportune moment could have sold back for as high as 238 at one point, to bag themselves a profit of 193x their initial stake.

JOSH ROCK v NATHAN ASPINALL – TOTAL 180s X HIGHEST MATCH CHECKOUT (SETTLED AT 3525)

The PDC World Darts Championships resumed on Tuesday night after a short Christmas break and rising star Josh Rock featured in an epic clash to beat Nathan Aspinall 4-3 and reach the last 16.

The 21-year-old Irishman made the most of Aspinall’s missed doubles to progress with Aspinall Missed Doubles making up at 37 from an initial spread of 17.5 – 19.5, while Total Missed Doubles settled at 56 from an initial spread of 36 – 40.

However, there were also plenty of 180s (25 from an initial spread of 12.9 – 13.7) and Rock’s 141 checkout in the deciding leg of the first set saw Total 180s x Highest Match Checkout market make-up at a massive 3,525 meaning buyers on the opening spread of 1,753 – 1,863 would have made 1,662x their initial stake.
