Jazz Janewattananond is caught in an uncomfortable position but needs to somehow hit a bunker shot - What Happens Next?

WHAT IS 'THE HUNDRED'?

The Hundred is an action-packed, unmissable new 100 ball cricket competition, which will be played by 8 newly-created teams, and will feature world-class players and massive names from around the world.

Eight brand new city-based women's and men's teams will compete over five weeks every summer. A men’s squad and women’s squad will be formed for each team, with the competitions running alongside each other.

Eight new teams have been created.

Those teams will be:

  • Birmingham Phoenix (Edgbaston)
  • London Spirit (Lord's)
  • Manchester Originals (Emirates Old Trafford)
  • Northern Superchargers (Emerald Headingley)
  • Oval Invincibles (Kia Oval)
  • Southern Brave (Ageas Bowl)
  • Trent Rockets (Trent Bridge)
  • Welsh Fire (Sophia Gardens)

Each squad will be made up of 15 players with a maximum of three overseas stars.

The competition kicks off tonight, and matches will be broadcast both terrestrially through the BBC, and on Sky Sports Golf. You can check out our prices for the opening women's match between the Invincibles and the Originals here. The match will kick off at 6.30pm at the Oval.

WHat were the best bets from the 149th open?

With Collin Morikawa grabbing another Major victory, what were the best bets from the 149th Open Championships, and just how much could you have won?

LIVE INDEX MORIKAWA - SETTLED AT 25

On our live index market, backing Morikawa and buying at an opening spread of 9.5 - 11 would have net you a tidy 14x return on your opening wager. A solid start, but pale in comparison to some other big-winning markets!

PLAYERS UNDER PAR - SETTLED AT 45

In what turned out to be an Open of great quality and hotly-contested to the very end, the Players Under Par market settled at a sizeable 45, meaning anyone choosing to buy at the opening spread of 11-14 would have been left with 31x their opening wager!

PLAYER PERFORMANCES MORIKAWA - SETTLED AT 250

With the Open seemingly a free-for-all in which every participant has a real chance of victory, the Player Performances markets were potential goldmines for astute punters. Had you bought at the Morikawa Player Performance opening spread of 25-29, you would have been left with an enormous profit return of 221x your opening wager!

PLAYER PERFORMANCES Mcilroy - SETTLED AT 0

On the other side of the jubilation around Morikawa and his victory, it was another disappointment for Rory McIlroy. With a sizeable opening spread of 30-34 on offer, anyone predicting the Northern Irishman's struggles would have been left with 30x their opening wager.

PLAYER PERFORMANCES - OOSTHUIZEN (SETTLED AT 100)

One of the emerging contenders who certainly had chances to pressure the victor, South Africa's Oosthuizen produced a commendable display, with a Player Performance result of 100. Although punters backing him to win it would have been disappointed, buying at his opening spread of 33-37 would have at least left them with a tidy 63x their opening wager.
