FOOTBALL

Thomas Tuchel has made a fantastic start since taking over at Chelsea, enjoying Champions League success last season and currently leading the way in the Premier League after 12 games. Manchester United make the trip to Stamford Bridge for a 16:30 Sunday kick-off with hopes of extending their four-year unbeaten run against the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

United talisman Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the midweek win at Villarreal, and he will be looking to maintain that goalscoring form against Chelsea. Ex-United man Romelu Lukaku looks set to return to action for Chelsea on Sunday. The Belgian’s second spell at Stamford Bridge hasn’t really taken off yet, but he will hope to get firing against his old side after being out injured for several weeks.

Elsewhere Arsenal host Newcastle in the Saturday 12:30 kick off, where Mikel Arteta’s side will be looking to bounce back against the Premier League’s bottom club after the 4-0 thrashing at Liverpool last weekend. Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City host early season surprise package West Ham United on Sunday. Both City and West Ham enjoyed European success in the week, but the Hammers have it all to do, having lost on each of their last five trips to the Etihad Stadium.
