To place a baseball spread bet, look at the Spreadex prediction or spread on the market in question.If you think the outcome will be higher than our price, then you would buy on the spread. If you think the outcome will be lower than our price, then you would sell on the spread. The more right you are the more you can win, but the opposite is the case if you get it wrong, as you may lose more than your initial stake.

Cross-Runs is where Team A Runs are multiplied by Team B runs. Spreadex is offering a Cross-Runs spread of 13-16, and you decide to buy £5 at 16. The game ends up finishing 12-3, leaving you with profits of £100 ((36 – 16) x £5). Say, instead the game finishes 7-3, you would still be left with profits of £25 ((21 – 16) x £5). However, if the game is a one-sided affair, finishing 7-1, you would suffer a loss of £45 ((7 – 16) x £5).

Spreadex is offering a Cross-Runs spread of 15-17, and you opt to sell £5 at 15. The game ends up at 6-1, leaving you with profits of £45 ((15 – 6) x £5). Even a slightly higher scoring game, say 4-3, would leave you with a profit of £15 ((15 – 12) x £5). But if the game finishes at 6-4, you would incur a loss of £45 ((15 – 24) x £5).
This is the predicted margin, in runs, by which one team will beat another. The price, or spread, will indicate which team is being placed as favourite over the other. Runs Supremacy: A prediction of the difference in runs between Team A and Team B. For example, Spreadex may quote Team A 0.8-.13 over Team B. If Team A wins by 4 runs, the market would make up at 4. However, if Team B won by 4 runs then the market would make up at -4. If you bought at 0.8 and Team A won, that would mean your winnings would be 3.2 times your initial stake. However if Team A lost, you would lose 4.8 times your initial stake. 10-3 Supremacy: Here the winner of the match receives 10 points plus a further 3 points per run won by.Innings Supremacy: These are Supremacy spreads, both Runs and 10-3, but for an individual Innings rather than across the entire match.
Total Runs: This is simply the total number of runs in a match. For example, Spreadex may offer a spread of 7.5-8. If you think there would be more than 8 runs scored you would buy at that price; if you think there would be fewer than 8 runs, you would sell. Cross-Runs: This is the total number of runs scored by Team A multiplied by the total number of runs scored by Team B. Team Runs: This is the total number of runs scored by an individual team across a match. Innings Runs: Like with Supremacy spreads, Spreadex also offers prices on the number of runs in an individual innings, be it Total Runs, Cross Runs or Team Runs.Stop At A Home Run: This is where you would get 10 x innings when first home run is hit, and if there's no home run in first 9 innings the make-up is 100.
Pitcher Performance: A pitcher would receive 25 points for team win, 10 points per completed innings, 5 per strikeout, but -3 per walk/hit conceded and -15 per home run conceded.Home Run Launch!: This is one of the more complicated markets, but one with the biggest potential make-ups. Home Run Launch! awards 10 points per home run scored, multiplied by the innings scored and further multiplied by total runs contributed by the home run. Cross-Hits: In baseball a hit is credited to a batter when they hit the ball and safely reach first base, as long not via an error or a fielder’s choice. Cross-Hits, then, would be the number of Team A Hits multiplied by the number of Team B Hits.
