HOW TO PLACE A TABLE TENNIS SPREAD BET

To place a table tennis spread bet, look at the Spreadex prediction or spread on the market in question.

If you think the outcome will be higher than our price, then you would buy on the spread.

If you think the outcome will be lower than our price, then you would sell on the spread.

The more right you are the more you can win, but the opposite is the case if you get it wrong, as you may lose more than your initial stake.

Spreadex is offering a Total Games spread of 3.6-3.8. You buy £50 at 3.8. The match goes to 5 games, leaving you with a profit of £60 ((5 – 3.8) x £50.

Even if it only went to 4 games, you would still make a small profit of £10 ((4 – 3.8) x £50).

However, if it was over and done with in 3 games, you would suffer a loss of £40 ((3 – 3.8) x £50).

Spreadex is offering a Total Games spread of 3.8-4. You sell £50 at 3.8. The match is over in 3 games, leaving you with a profit of £40 ((3.8 – 3) x £50).

If the match went to 4 games, however, you would suffer a loss of £10 ((3.8 – 4) x £50). Or, if the match went to 5 games), you would incur a loss of £60 ((3.8 -5) x £50).

TABLE TENNIS SUPREMACY, TOTALS AND INDEX SPREAD BETS

10-5 Match Supremacy: This spread where the winning player is awarded 10 points, plus a further 5 points for every set won by.

For example, Spreadex are offering a Player A/Player B Match Supremacy spread of 5-8. If you think Player A will win, you would buy. If you think Player A will lose, you would sell.

Player A then win 3-1, causing a Match Supremacy make-up of 20. If you have bought at 8, then, you would win 12 times your initial stake.

Total Games: The total number of games across a match.

Total Points: The total number of points scored across a match.

25-0 Index: This is an index spread, where a player is awarded 25 points for a win, and 0 for a loss. For example, Spreadex is offering a Player A 25-0 Index spread of 10-11.5. If you think they will win, you would buy at 11.5. If you think they will lose, you would sell at 10.

If Player A then won, and you had bought at that aforementioned spread, you could have won 13.5 times your initial spread. However, if they were defeated, you would have lost 10 times your initial stake.
