Spreadex / Watford Win a Signed Away Shirt Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter (Spreadex), their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
2. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
3. To enter the competition you must comment on the original Spreadex post with a prediction of the minute of the first goal that Watford score against Coventry on Saturday 2nd September 2023 at 3pm. You must be following Spreadex on the social media platform you have entered on.
4. This promotion is not endorsed, sponsored or administered by Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
5. The opening date for entries is 9.00am on Wednesday 30th August 2023. The closing date for entries is Saturday 2nd September 2023 3pm. (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
7. The winner will be the closest person to the prediction of the minute of Watford's first goal. If two entrants enter the same winning minute, a winner will be selected by random draw performed by a manual selection process (at random) on Monday 4th September 2023.
8. Subject to their compliance with the above clauses, the winner will receive a signed Watford away 2023/24 season playing shirt signed by Watford players.
9. The winner will be contacted within five days after the Draw Date and will need to provide proof of age, address and contact details. In the event that the winner cannot be reached, three attempts will be made to get in contact with the winner, after which a new winner will be selected, also at random.
10. The prize will be sent to the winner by post within seven working days of providing their details. The promoter will make all available efforts to get the shirt to the winner according to the aforementioned timings, but cannot guarantee this in the case of unforeseen circumstances. 
11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. If Watford fail to score the prize will be rolled over to a future fixture.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
14. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
16. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
17. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
